“Upon landing, the aircraft was met by emergency services, including Airport Police and our Fire and Rescue department, due to 6 passengers and 6 crew [12 total] on board reporting injuries after the aircraft experienced turbulence while airborne over Turkey,” according to a statement released by Dublin Airport.

The incident occurred five days after severe turbulence caused a Singapore Airlines flight from London to Singapore to be forced to land in Bangkok, where the aircraft plummeted six thousand feet in five minutes. A British man, 73, died, and 20 more people were hospitalized in critical condition.
