Pune, 27th March: District Collector Jitendra Dudi has issued orders regarding traffic diversions during the Shri Ekvira Devi Chaitri Utsav, starting on 4th April in Vehergaon and Karla, Maval taluka. Heavy and large vehicles will be restricted on the old Mumbai-Pune Highway during this period, with alternative routes being implemented.

As per the orders, heavy and large vehicles will be prohibited (No Entry) 24/7 between Karla Phata and Shri Ekvira Devi Paytha Temple during the festival. Additionally, from 12:01 AM to 12:00 midnight, heavy vehicles will be banned on the old Mumbai-Pune and Pune-Mumbai Highway stretches between Kusgaon Badruk Toll Naka (Lonavala) to Vadgaon Phata and Vadgaon Maval.

Vehicles heading towards Pune from the old Mumbai-Pune Highway will be diverted via Kusgaon Badruk Toll Naka onto the expressway, proceeding towards Pune via Urse Toll Naka. Similarly, heavy vehicles traveling from Pune to Mumbai must use the Vadgaon Talegaon Phata route, taking the expressway through Urse Khindi.

Collector Dudi has urged citizens to cooperate by noting these traffic changes and adjusting their travel plans accordingly.
