In a significant move to boost tourism in India’s pristine Union Territory of Lakshadweep, the Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced the signing of two Taj-branded resorts on the islands of Suheli and Kadmat. Scheduled to open in 2026, these Greenfield projects aim to combine luxury with sustainability, offering world-class hospitality while preserving the fragile ecosystem of the archipelago.

  • Location: Suheli Island, known for its ring-shaped coral reef and rich marine life.
