Sky-High Attraction: 50-Metre Tall Viewing Tower in Mumbai Near Bandra-Worli Sea Link to Offer Breathtaking Views by 2027

Mumbai’s iconic skyline is set to get a dazzling new addition—a 50-metre tall viewing tower near the Bandra-Worli Sea Link (BWSL). The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has unveiled plans for this unique structure, which will not only offer sweeping views of the Arabian Sea and the city but also serve as part of a ₹4,300-crore Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) project.
What to Expect from the New Tower?
The futuristic tower will feature an open-air gallery with seating, ramps, and elevators for easy access. The ground and first floors will house a knowledge centre highlighting BMC’s history and water conservation initiatives. Inspired by Dubai’s Burj Khalifa, the tower may also include telescope and binocular points for an immersive viewing experience.
Due to security concerns near the BWSL, the STP will be constructed underground, leaving the surface free for green spaces and public amenities. The membrane tank and other treatment units will remain hidden beneath the tower, ensuring both functionality and aesthetics.
Scheduled for completion by 2027, the 50-metre tall viewing tower is expected to become a must-visit spot for Mumbaikars and tourists alike, offering a fresh perspective of the city’s stunning coastline.
