Pune: University Road Flyover to Partially Open on May 1; Full Completion by August
Pune, March 29, 2025: The much-awaited University Road flyover will see its first operational section—from Bremen Circle to E-Square—open for traffic starting 1st May 2025, as announced by Siddharth Shirole, Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) from Shivajinagar Constituency, Pune.
Shirole confirmed that work on the remaining ramps leading toward Baner and Raj Bhavan is progressing swiftly and is expected to be completed by August 2025. Once fully operational, the flyover will significantly ease traffic congestion at one of Pune’s busiest entry points and key corridors.
Expressing his gratitude, Shirole acknowledged the efforts of contractors, authorities, engineers, and workers for their dedication in making this crucial infrastructure project a reality.
