Pune: Unidentified Man Killed in Hit-and-Run Near Nyati Ebony Society, Undri; Driver Absconding
Pune, April 01, 2025: A tragic hit-and-run incident near Nyati Ebony Society in Undri on Monday morning claimed the life of an unidentified man. The accident, reported around 7:00 AM, prompted authorities to rush to the scene.
According to police sources, the victim was found lying on the roadside with severe head injuries, bleeding from the nose. He was immediately taken to Sassoon Hospital but was declared dead on arrival. No belongings were found on him, making identification difficult.
Local residents suspect a blind spot in the area may have contributed to the accident, raising concerns over road safety. Police are reviewing CCTV footage from nearby residential societies to track the fleeing vehicle. Investigations are ongoing, and authorities urge witnesses to come forward with any information.
