This decision comes after earlier restrictions were imposed due to the ongoing Tata Metro construction work. The new traffic arrangement is aimed at easing congestion and improving travel efficiency in the area. The previous orders regarding traffic restrictions on this stretch are now cancelled.

According to a notification issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Pune, the move follows a review of vehicular movement and safety concerns. The revised traffic flow will enable a smoother commute between Pune University and Shivajinagar, which is a crucial corridor for thousands of daily commuters.

Authorities have urged motorists to adhere to the revised traffic plan and drive responsibly. Additionally, traffic police personnel will be deployed to ensure a smooth transition and assist commuters with the new flow of movement.

This change is expected to bring relief to daily travelers and help decongest alternative routes that were previously overburdened due to the one-way restriction.
