Pune: Two Dead, Two Seriously Injured as Car Plunges 100 Meters into Gorge in Pasarni Ghat

In a tragic accident at Pasarni Ghat, two young men from Loni Kalbhor lost their lives, while two others sustained serious injuries after their car plunged 100 meters into a gorge.
The incident occurred on Thursday evening around 6 PM when the driver lost control of the vehicle due to excessive speed. The deceased have been identified as Akshay Mhaske Kalbhor (26) and Saurabh Jalindar Kalbhor (26). The injured, Vaibhav Kalbhor and Bajrang Parvatrao (35), both residents of Loni Kalbhor, were rushed to a private hospital in Wai (Satara district) for treatment.
The four friends had embarked on a trip to Konkan two days prior and were returning home when the accident took place. The car fell into the deep gorge near Buvasaheb Temple in Pasarni Ghat. The steep slope of the ghat and the driver’s inability to gauge the terrain contributed to the mishap.
