Pune: Schedule of Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Palkhi
Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj Ashadi Palkhi Wari will commence on 29th June 2024, at four o’clock in the evening, the Wari of Mauli’s Palkhi will depart for Pandharpur. The first halt will be at the Darshan Mandap building in Alandi (Gandhi Wada). Then, on June 30th, the Wari will proceed towards Pune in the morning. The next halt of the Wari will be in Pune on June 30th and July 1st. Following this, the complete schedule of this Wari is as follows:
- June 29: Departure from Alandi
- June 30 and July 1: Pune
- July 2 and 3: Saswad
- July 4: Jejuri
- July 5: Walhe
- July 6 and 7: Lonand
- July 8: Taradgaon, with Chandoba’s Limb hosting the first resting place
- July 9: Phaltan
- July 10: Barad
- July 11: Natepute
- July 12: Malshiras, with Purandar hosting the first round of ringan
- July 13: Velapur, with Khudus Fata hosting the second round of ringan
- July 14: Bhandishegaon, with Thakur Buva’s Samadhi hosting the third round of ringan
- July 15: Vakhari, with Bajirao’s Vihir hosting the second upright ring, the fourth round of ringan
- July 16: The Wari procession will reach Pandharpur. At the Padukas, the third upright ringan
- July 17: Ashadi Ekadashi
The Wari will remain in Pandharpur for the Ashadhi Ekadasi Palkhi Festival until July 20th. After that, on July 21st, the return journey of the Palkhi will commence, reaching Alandi on July 30th.
