Pune: Round-the-Clock Crowd Management Measures Implemented at Pune Railway Station

Pune Railway Station has introduced round-the-clock crowd management measures to ensure smooth passenger movement, enhance convenience, and maintain order during high-demand periods.
Under the guidance of the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of Pune, dedicated teams of officers and railway staff, including Commercial staff and Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel, have been deployed at key points to regulate passenger flow and facilitate hassle-free boarding.
Senior officials are actively monitoring station operations to ensure seamless transit. Key measures include 24×7 deployment of crowd management teams, monitoring queues at ticketing and boarding areas, efficient ticket checking, opening additional ticket windows, and preventing overcrowding in reserved coaches.
These enhanced efforts, set to continue until February 26, 2025, aim to provide a safe and smooth travel experience for all passengers. Passengers are encouraged to cooperate with railway staff, arrive early, and follow guidelines for a hassle-free journey.
