On Monday, the minimum temperature in Pune was recorded at 12.9 degrees Celsius, while Solapur registered the highest temperature in Maharashtra at 37.4 degrees Celsius in the 24 hours leading up to Monday morning.

Anupam Kashyapi, former head of weather forecasting at IMD Pune, has indicated that night temperatures in Maharashtra, including Pune, are likely to rise from 23rd February. This shift is due to the movement of Western Disturbances via the Western Himalayan Region and wind interactions. Isolated light rain is also expected in Maharashtra, with Pune likely to experience cloudy weather. Kashyapi has advised farmers to remain cautious about the potential impact on standing crops during this period.
