Pune: Polling team treks for an hour to reach highest polling station in Raireshwar for 160 voters | Watch
The highest polling station in Raireshwar was set up for 160 voters during third phase of Lok Sabha Elections 2024 on May 07 in Pune. The polling team had to trek for an hour with the help of an iron ladder to reach the polling station.
Raireshwar booth was the highest polling booth in Baramati Lok Sabha constituency. This booth was set up for 160 voters. This separate polling booth was set up for the voters residing at Raireshwar fort. The staff and officers deployed for this election went to Raireshwar fort with EVM, control unit and VVPAT machine.

In Bhor Assembly Constituency, Raireshwar polling booth was located at 4,505 feet, the highest elevation in the district. Special backpack facility was provided by the Election Commission as the team has to trek to the polling booth with the help of an iron ladder.
