With a budget allocation of ₹147.50 crore, this initiative aims to enhance connectivity and streamline traffic flow in the region.

As part of the plan, three new roads will be constructed: Chandkhed to Kasarsai (5 km, ₹27.50 crore), Mutha Top to Urawade (3.5 km, ₹19.25 crore), and Nighoje to Moi (3.6 km, ₹75 crore). These roads will significantly improve transport infrastructure and reduce congestion.

PMRDA Commissioner Dr. Yogesh Mhase stated that the proposed Ring Road will pass through nine talukas, including Maval, Khed, Shirur, Haveli, Daund, Purandar, Bhor, Velhe, and Mulshi. Of the 15 planned interchanges, 12 are already in place, with three new ones set to add 12.10 km of roads to the network.

This ambitious project is expected to enhance accessibility, ease traffic congestion, and bolster the region’s road infrastructure, marking a major step forward for Pune’s urban development.
