Pune: PMRDA Appoints Two Officers for Inner Ring Road Land Acquisition
Pune, March 26, 2025: The Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) has appointed two officers for land acquisition related to the Inner Ring Road project. District Collector Jitendra Dudi shared this information on Monday.
Meanwhile, the measurement process for the land acquired for these roads has already begun.
The PMRDA’s Ring Road will span 73 kilometers and is expected to cost ₹14,200 crores. The district administration has proposed acquiring 115 hectares of land across 13 villages for this project. Accordingly, the district administration has completed initial land measurement phases in these villages.
On Tuesday, the measurement of 16.5 hectares of land in Vadgaon Wadi was conducted. The land measurement in Ambegaon Khurd will take place on Wednesday and Thursday.
District officials stated that landowners who consent to direct purchase will receive an additional 25% compensation.
