As Pune city rapidly develops and urbanizes, it is crucial to undertake large-scale tree plantation and conservation efforts to maintain environmental balance and keep the city’s temperature within healthy limits.

With a vision of making Pune a greener city, the Pune Municipal Corporation’s Garden Department and Tree Authority will be planting a large number of native trees this year.

To encourage citizen and institutional participation in this greening initiative, the Pune Municipal Corporation invites all government, semi-government, registered cooperative housing societies, schools, colleges, and citizens within its limits to participate in this large-scale tree plantation drive during the monsoon season.
