Pune: PMC organizes cycle ride on ‘World Cycle Day’, June 03, check participation details
On the occasion of World Cycle Day, Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) is organizing a cycle ride on June 3, 2024. The ride will start from PMC Bhavan at 6.30 am.
The route for the ride is well-planned, covering some of the main roads of Pune. It will start from PMC Bhavan, go through Jangali Maharaj Road, Tilak Road, Bajirao Road, and then return to PMC Bhavan via Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji Marg.
This event by PMC is not just a celebration of World Cycle Day. It’s also a way to encourage people to use cycles more often. Cycling is good for health and it’s also good for our environment as it reduces pollution.
The cycle ride is open to everyone. It doesn’t matter how old you are or how good you are at cycling. Everyone can join and enjoy the ride. It’s a chance for all of us to come together and enjoy our city in a new way.
PMC has made sure that everyone who joins the ride will be safe and comfortable. There is no need for registration and anyone can join this community cycle ride. However PMC cautions that everyone will be responsible for their own safety.
So, people of Pune, it’s time to get your cycles ready. Let’s all come together on June 3rd and make this event a success. Let’s show our love for cycling and our commitment to a cleaner, healthier Pune. See you there!
