The fair aims to promote women’s empowerment by providing a market platform where women self-help groups can showcase and sell their handmade products. This initiative is designed to boost their marketing and sales skills while giving them greater visibility. Key officials, including Deputy Commissioner Dr. Pradeep Thengal and Assistant Commissioner Tanaji Narale, along with representatives from public health, disaster management, fire services, and social development, attended the planning session.

Visitors to the fair can look forward to a vibrant atmosphere featuring food stalls, toy exhibits, and informative displays from self-help groups. To ensure the safety and comfort of all participants, the event will be equipped with essential amenities such as drinking water, sanitation facilities, medical teams, fire vehicles, and CCTV surveillance. Special stall spaces have been dedicated not only to women but also to persons with disabilities and transgender individuals.

Adding to the cultural richness of the event, the fair will feature traditional art showcases, entertainment activities, and cultural programs. Additionally, the Khadi Gramodyog Mahamandal will host a pavilion, offering insights into traditional handicrafts. With meticulous planning and high expectations of public participation, PCMC is poised to make this fair a significant community event.
