Pune: PCMC Offers 10% Discount for Full Online Property Tax Payment by June 30
The Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has announced a 10% discount on property tax for citizens who make full payments online by June 30, 2025. The discount includes 5% for early payment and an additional 5% for using the online payment method.
With 6,15,863 registered properties in the city, PCMC has already launched its tax collection drive, urging residents to pay early and digitally. In the first quarter of FY 2024–25, 3,49,838 property owners benefited from this scheme, contributing ₹435 crore in taxes.
PCMC also continues to offer additional concessions, including:
- 30% discount for women-owned residential properties
- 50% for persons with 40% or more disability
- 100% for gallantry award recipients, war widows, and ex-servicemen
- 5%–10% for eco-friendly buildings and waste management initiatives
- 2% for consistent taxpayers over the last three years
Municipal Commissioner Shekhar Singh encouraged citizens to pay online before the deadline to maximize benefits. Last fiscal year, timely payments helped PCMC collect ₹966 crore in revenue.
