Pune: Major Traffic Changes Announced in Baner, Camp, and Deccan Areas

Pune traffic authorities have implemented significant changes to ease congestion and improve road safety in key city areas. The new traffic regulations, issued by the Pune Traffic Police, will introduce no-parking zones and route modifications in Baner, Camp (Lashkar), and Deccan.
Traffic Changes Announced
Baner Traffic Division
- The stretch from Amar Armaan Genesis to Solitaire-9 Society (800 meters) has been declared a no-parking zone on both sides of the road.

Lashkar (Camp) Traffic Division
To reduce traffic congestion at Volga Chowk, the Lashkar Traffic Division, Pune has implemented the following changes:
- The road between Indira Gandhi Chowk and Khane Maruti Chowk will be blocked at Volga Chowk using road dividers, barricades, and ropes.
- Vehicles traveling from Indira Gandhi Chowk or Preet Mandir Chowk towards Mohammad Rafi Chowk must proceed straight through Volga Chowk for 80 meters and take a U-turn in front of Axis Bank before heading to their destination.
- Vehicles traveling from Khane Maruti Chowk or Mohammad Rafi Chowk towards Preet Mandir Chowk must go straight through Volga Chowk for 80 meters and take a U-turn near SBI Bank before continuing their journey.

Deccan Traffic Division
- Karve Road (100 meters) from Sahyadri Hospital Out Gate to Vimalabai Garware School Gate has been designated as a no-parking zone for all types of vehicles.

These regulations aim to streamline traffic movement and improve road discipline. The authorities urge commuters to follow the revised rules, ensuring smoother and safer travel across Pune.
