Pune: High-End BMW Catches Fire, Burns Down Completely Near Hotel Sayaji in Wakad
Pune: A high-end BMW car caught fire yesterday in a shocking incident in the Wakad area of Pimpri-Chinchwad. The incident occurred around 4:30 PM on the service road near Hotel Sayaji, along the Katraj-Dehu Road Bypass section of the Mumbai-Bengaluru Highway.
The driver, who was traveling toward Pune city, noticed the fire in time and managed to stop the vehicle on the roadside before safely exiting. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Upon receiving the alert, a fire brigade team from Rahatani Fire Station, part of the Pimpri-Chinchwad Fire Department, promptly reached the scene and extinguished the flames. However, the BMW was completely destroyed in the fire. The exact cause of the fire remains unknown, and further investigations are underway.
