Pune: HERACLES OF LAVASA 2.0 Marathon Brings Over 300 Runners Together for Fitness, Unity, and Inclusivity

Lavasa, February 9, 2025 – The scenic Lavasa township came alive on February 9th with the highly anticipated HERACLES OF LAVASA 2.0 marathon, themed Bigger, Braver, Bolder. Organized by CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Pune, Lavasa campus, in collaboration with the National Cadet Corps (NCC), Centre for Social Action (CSA), and Inclusiverse, the event attracted over 300 participants and 50 volunteers, celebrating fitness, inclusivity, and social responsibility.
The day began at 6:30 AM with an energetic Zumba warm-up session, setting an enthusiastic tone for the marathon. The races, covering 3KM, 5KM, and 10KM, commenced at 7:00 AM, taking runners through Lavasa’s picturesque landscapes. Specially-abled children participated in the event, highlighting the commitment to inclusivity.
At 9:00 AM, a spirited Tug-of-War competition showcased teamwork and camaraderie. The Valedictory Ceremony at 9:30 AM recognized winners with cash prizes and trophies across various categories. Fitness challenges such as King and Queen of Pushups, Plank Hold Master, and Iron Legs Champion followed at 10:00 AM, further elevating the event’s excitement.
The event was supported by Enrich Solar, Pertinent Infra and Solar, Shoreways Exim LLP, Hyderabadi Ittr, Learning Cafe, and Smarter You, with Binc Team and CSA Media Team capturing memorable moments through photography and videography.
