Pune: Farmer Killed Over Extramarital Affair, Wife and Accomplice Arrested in Uruli Kanchan

Uruli Kanchan: In a shocking crime, a 45-year-old farmer was brutally murdered with a sharp weapon outside his home near Siddhanath Temple, Wadali Vasti, Loni Kalbhor, on Tuesday morning. The deceased has been identified as Ravindra Kashinath Kalbhor.
Acting swiftly, Loni Kalbhor police cracked the case within three hours, arresting the victim’s wife, Shobha Ravindra Kalbhor (42), and her accomplice, Gorakh Tryambak Kalbhor (41). During interrogation, Shobha confessed that she and Gorakh had killed Ravindra due to their illicit affair.
The police, led by senior officers under the guidance of DCP (Circle 5) and ACP Hadapsar Division Anuradha Udamale, registered a case under IPC Section 103, 3(5) of the Maharashtra Police Act, and Section 37(1) with 135.
The investigative team, including multiple officers, successfully solved the case in record time, highlighting the efficiency of Loni Kalbhor police.
