Pune: Drunk Driver Crashes Speeding Car Into Divider, Crushes Delivery Man’s Scooter
Pune: A shocking incident of reckless driving occurred near RIMS School on NIBM Road in Kondhwa early Monday morning. A drunk driver lost control of his speeding car, crashed into a divider, and crushed a parked Suzuki Burgman scooter belonging to a delivery rider. The incident, which took place around 4 am, was captured on video and has since gone viral on social media.
The video shows the black car running over the scooter, completely destroying it along with the delivery items. Despite locals shouting at the driver to stop, he fled the scene immediately. A bystander recording the incident can be heard screaming the car’s number plate, “MH12TK1463.”

Eyewitnesses reported that the car was speeding dangerously before swerving and hitting the divider, ultimately ramming into the parked scooter. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, but the delivery rider was left devastated as his livelihood was destroyed in seconds.
Residents have expressed growing concerns over the rise in reckless driving incidents, particularly at night, and have urged Pune Police to take stricter action against drunk driving. Authorities have launched a probe and are reviewing CCTV footage to identify and apprehend the accused driver.
