Pune: Be Careful While Lighting Incense Sticks at Home; Fire Caused by Burning Incense Stick Falling on Mattress; Watch Video
There was a fire incident in Pune’s Fatimanagar area recenlty due to burning incense stick falling on a mattress. Fortunately there were no casualties in the incident.
The incident, which occurred at Pleasant Park Society in Fatimanagar area of Pune , could have been disastrous but was fortunately brought under control in time, preventing any injuries or loss of life.
The fire broke out when an incense stick, or dhoop, accidentally fell onto a mattress in one of the flats. Within no time, the mattress caught fire, filling the room with smoke and creating a chaotic situation. Timely intervention by the residents and prompt action by the fire brigade and neighbors helped extinguish the flames before they could spread further.
A video of the incident has been shared on social media, showing the thick smoke and the immediate efforts to control the fire. The video has started discussions about the importance of exercising caution while using incense sticks and similar items at home.
