Pune Airport to Operate 104 Daily Flights Under New Schedule to Accommodate Summer Vacation Travel

Pune Airport is set to increase its daily flight operations under the newly introduced summer schedule, effective from March 30, 2025. This update will see the airport managing 104 departures and 104 arrivals daily, totaling 208 flight movements per day. This marks a significant rise from the current winter schedule, which accommodates 90 departures and 90 arrivals, totaling 180 flight movements per day.
With schools and colleges set to close for the summer, the increased flight frequency is expected to ease travel planning for families and business travelers alike. The Airport Authority of India (AAI) confirmed that the summer schedule will remain in place for six months, offering improved connectivity to 35 domestic and international destinations, including Dubai, Singapore, and Bangkok.
Pune Airport Director Santosh Dhoke highlighted the benefits of the new schedule, stating, “With increased connectivity, passengers will find travel more convenient, especially during peak season. The availability of 104 to 109 slots will significantly ease summer travel plans.”
Frequent travelers welcomed the change, stating that the new summer schedule offers greater flexibility in booking flights and reduces the stress of last-minute arrangements. Many expressed enthusiasm for the added international connections, particularly direct flights to destinations like Bangkok, as well as improved access to cooler northern regions in India.
The expansion of flight operations at Pune Airport is expected to enhance accessibility for both leisure and business travelers, making the city a more connected hub in the region.
