NDA Partners affirm support for Modi, more support comes from independents, NDA at 303 now
All NDA Partners unanimously elected Narendra Modi as the alliance leader. The Oath taking ceremony is on 8th June.
Leaders of the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance unanimously elected Narendra Modi as the ruling alliance’s leader on Wednesday, passing a resolution to strengthen the government’s commitment to serving the poor, women, youths, farmers and deprived sections of society. This resolution cleared the way for Narendra Modi to become the Prime Minister of India for third time in a row, equaling the record of Jawahar Lal Nehru in 1962.

Besides this, 7 Independents & 3 MPs from small parties have also declared their support to PM Modi. They expressed their desire for PM Narendra Modi to lead India with mega reforms & a stable govt.
Nitish Kumar‘s big statement! “My full support is with Narendra Modi. There should be no delay in forming the government. The government should be formed as soon as possible. There is no point in going with the Congress.” Nitish Kumar after the NDA meeting.
On being asked about being a part of the NDA, TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu says “How can we contest elections if we are not a part of NDA? We fought this collectively. The meeting was good.”
They met at Modi’s residence here a day after the NDA won a majority of seats in the Lok Sabha election, paving the way for him to take the oath for a third consecutive term, a first for any ruling alliance since 1962.
TDP leader N Chandrababu Naidu, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, LJP(R) leader Chirag Paswan and NCP leader Praful Patel were among those who attended the meeting.
