Brahmapuri, a town in Vidarburi, is feeling the heat, literally. The mercury soared to a sizzling 47.1°C, making it one of the hottest spots in the state. The weather folks have sounded a heatwave alert, cautioning that some isolated pockets in Vidarbha might face the brunt of the heat.
A Tale of Two Temperatures:
In Maharashtra, while Brahmapuri was sweltering at 47.1°C, Dharashiv recorded the lowest temperature in the state at a relatively cool 22.9°C.
Mumbai’s Weather Outlook Mumbaikars can expect a mix of sun and clouds for the next 24 hours. Daytime temperatures are likely to hover around 35°C, while the nights could see a dip to around 29°C. So, warm days and slightly cooler nights are on the cards.
Pune’s Weather Forecast:
Pune’s skies are likely to be partly cloudy, with daytime temperatures ranging between 34°C and 37°C. Night-time temperatures could drop to between 23°C and 27°C. While it’s going to be warm, it won’t be as hot as Brahmapuri.

Over the next 3-4 days, the monsoon is expected to advance over some parts of the Northeastern states.
