The wait is almost over for Maharashtra’s Class 12 students as the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) prepares to announce the HSC Results 2025. Initially expected in May, recent reports hint at an early release, possibly in the first week of May.

Students can check their results online at mahresult.nic.in by entering their roll number and mother’s first name. The exams, held from February 11 to March 11, 2025, were preceded by practical tests between January 24 and February 10. The online results will include detailed subject-wise marks for both theory and practical exams.

Grading System for Maharashtra HSC 2025

Here’s how the board will classify students based on their performance:

  • Distinction: 75% and above
  • First Class: 60% and above
  • Second Class: 45% to 59%
  • Pass: 35% to 44%
  • Failed: Below 35%

Students are advised to download and print their provisional results until original mark sheets are distributed by their schools.
