A Mission to Uplift Artisans

For CORVEE INDIA, the journey began well before its formal establishment in 2023. With a deep-rooted passion for social impact, Chinmayee Sukthankar, along with directors Neha Agarwal and Sangeeta Gawali, set out to uplift local artisans—particularly underprivileged women—by providing them with a platform to showcase their craft.

The Amazon Catalyst: Expanding Reach and Possibilities

Bringing traditional handicrafts online posed significant challenges—limited market access, logistical hurdles, and technological barriers often hindered artisans’ growth. However, e-commerce marketplaces like Amazon transformed this landscape.

🚀 The Game-Changer: Amazon Saheli Program

Thanks to the support of the DeAsra Foundation, CORVEE INDIA joined the Amazon Saheli Program in August 2024. With hands-on training from Amazon representatives, the brand quickly mastered the intricacies of online selling.

🌍 Scaling Operations with Amazon Karigar

Transitioning into the Amazon Karigar Program proved to be a turning point, rapidly expanding CORVEE INDIA’s reach across India within just a few months.

How Amazon Empowered CORVEE INDIA:

User-Friendly Platform: Eliminated the need for an independent online store
Dedicated Support: Assisted with product listing, marketing, and logistics
Nationwide Reach: Orders fulfilled across Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Hyderabad, Goa, Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, and Rajasthan

For artisans who once struggled to sustain themselves in limited local markets, this newfound visibility brought financial stability and motivation like never before.

Creating Employment and Inspiring Change

Beyond empowering artisans, CORVEE INDIA has become a direct source of livelihood for over 50 artisans, aged 18 to 70, from scheduled tribal communities and low-income groups.

🌟 Success Story: Sangeeta Gawali
Having been with CORVEE INDIA for eight years, Sangeeta has risen to the position of director—a testament to the program’s transformative impact.

Looking Ahead: A Sustainable Future

🌱 CORVEE INDIA’s vision extends beyond national expansion. The brand is focused on:
Eco-Friendly Product Innovation: Introducing bamboo-based and cow dung products
Sustainable Production: Researching ways to create practical and eco-conscious offerings
Global Marketplace Expansion: Leveraging Amazon’s international reach to introduce Indian craftsmanship to the world

From struggling for recognition in local markets to becoming a nationally recognized brand, CORVEE INDIA has proven that when tradition meets technology, possibilities are limitless.
