Nashik, March 4 : Manavata Health Campus, comprising HCG Manavta Cancer Centre (HCGMCC) and KIMS Manavata Multi-speciality Hospital, has launched India’s largest robotic parking system in a healthcare facility. Spanning 16 floors with the capacity to accommodate 300 vehicles, the state-of-the-art system independently manages vehicle parking without human intervention, ensuring a seamless and efficient process. Equipped with over 3,000 sensors, cameras and advanced fire safety protocols, the system guarantees secure parking and quick, hassle-free vehicle retrieval. This innovation reflects the hospital’s vision to drive Indian healthcare forward through technology and robotics.

The facility was inaugurated earlier this month, amidst a gathering of esteemed guests, including the Chief Guest – Dr Praveen Gedam, Divisional Commissioner of Nashik and Guests of Honour – Dr Sudhir Sankalecha, President, IMA, Nashik; Adv. Nitin Thakare, General Secretary of NDMVP Samaj, Nashik; Dr Yatindra Dubey, Sr. Consultant – Internal Medicine, Emergency & Critical Care, KIMS Manavata and Mrs Prarthana Nagarkar, Director, HCGMCC. Dr B. Bhaskar Rao – Chairman & Managing Director, KIMS Group of Hospitals conveyed his best wishes for the facility’s success on the occasion.

Prof Dr Raj Nagarkar, MD & Chief of Surgical Oncology & Robotic Services, HCGMCC, a renowned surgeon with numerous distinctions, including the world record for performing over 1,100 successful robotic surgeries, emphasizes the importance of this initiative.

“Care begins long before a patient steps into the hospital. It starts the moment they arrive, and parking is often a significant source of stress for patients and their families. Long waits, endless searching and unnecessary stress are common challenges. This robotic parking system addresses these concerns, providing a seamless and stress-free arrival experience.”

Pioneers of robotic assisted surgeries in India, HCGMCC is renowned for its technologically advanced cancer care. The introduction of this state-of-the-art robotic parking system aligns with the hospital’s vision to create one of the most advanced hospital infrastructures globally, where technology and robotics are seamlessly integrated into all aspects of patient care and hospital operations. Accredited with the Digital Health Standards by the National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers (NABH), the hospital remains committed to leveraging innovation for enhanced patient safety and convenience.
