Giant Python Measuring 13 Feet and 150 kg Found and Rescued by Forest Department | Watch
Uttarakhand, May 07, 2024: A giant python entered the fields near Ismailpur village in Laksar tehsil, Haridwar district, causing chaos. The forest workers had to work hard to save the python, which was 13 feet long and weighed roughly 150 kg. After much effort, the python was rescued and released into a safe location in the forest.
Wild animals begin to infiltrate human-populated areas in search of water as soon as summer arrives. A massive python made its way into the field next to Ismailpur village in Laksar tehsil, Haridwar, on Monday.
The farmers in the area were taken aback upon seeing the python. It was promptly reported to the forest department. The Laksar Forest Department team arrived at the location as soon as they received the information and began saving the python.

It took a great deal of work to free the python that was hidden in the bushes. The Forest Department crew arrived at the location as soon as they received the information, according to Range Officer Shailendra Singh Negi, and the python was successfully rescued and returned to the forest.
“This python was about 13 feet long and its weight was around 125-150 kg, hence it took time for the forest workers to rescue it, but with the help of the villagers, the forest workers successfully rescued this giant python and released it in the reserved forest area,” according to Range Officer Shailendra Singh Negi.
