No More Hybrid Lanes

Previously, MSRDC toll plazas operated hybrid lanes that accepted multiple payment methods. However, these have now been replaced with dedicated FASTag lanes, making it compulsory for all vehicles to have an active FASTag sticker.

Key Guidelines for Motorists

  • FASTag is now the only accepted mode of payment at all MSRDC toll plazas.
  • Vehicle owners must install and activate FASTag to avoid paying double toll charges.
  • This rule applies to all nine road projects under MSRDC, covering major highways and expressways.
  • Motorists should check their FASTag balance before traveling to prevent inconvenience.

Toll Plazas Where FASTag Is Mandatory

The new rule covers several key toll plazas, including:
✅ Bandra-Worli Sea Link
✅ Mumbai-Pune Expressway & Old Mumbai-Pune Highway
✅ Five Toll Plazas at Mumbai Entry Points
✅ 23 Toll Plazas on Samruddhi Expressway
✅ Nagpur Integrated Road Development Project (5 Toll Plazas)
✅ Solapur Integrated Road Development Project (4 Toll Plazas)
✅ Sambhajinagar Integrated Road Development Project (3 Toll Plazas)
✅ Katol Bypass
✅ Chimur-Warora-Wani Road

Motorists are strongly advised to ensure their FASTag is valid and sufficiently topped up before hitting the road to avoid penalties.
