Char Dham Yatra 2025: Registration Begins, Key Guidelines Issued for Pilgrims

Dehradun: The much-awaited Char Dham Yatra 2025 is set to commence on April 30, and online registration has officially begun from March 20. Offline registration will start 10 days before the pilgrimage begins, allowing devotees to register at designated centers along the yatra route, including Haridwar and Rishikesh.
The pilgrimage covers the four sacred sites of Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, and Yamunotri. Along with Char Dham, registration for the Hemkund Sahib Yatra has also started.
How to Register for Char Dham Yatra 2025?
Pilgrims can register online through the official Uttarakhand tourism website: https://registrationandtouristcare.uk.gov.in. The process requires logging in with a mobile number and providing essential details, including name, state, and Aadhaar card information, which is mandatory for registration.
For those preferring offline registration, centers will be operational along the route and in key locations such as Haridwar and Rishikesh. These centers will assist devotees throughout the registration process.
Mandatory Vehicle Registration and Travel Guidelines
This year, stricter regulations have been introduced for private vehicles from other states. All private vehicles must be registered online, and their owners must submit a declaration form. Non-registered outstation vehicles will have to be parked in Rishikesh, with passengers continuing the journey in local commercial vehicles.
Vehicle inspections will be conducted at three checkpoints along the yatra route, as well as at all entry points into Uttarakhand. Pilgrims are advised to carry valid documents for both their vehicles and drivers to avoid disruptions.
