Board Exam Result 2025 Live: Updates from CBSE, Maharashtra, UP, Telangana, Haryana, Uttarakhand

The countdown for Board Exam Result 2025 has officially begun as millions of students across India await their Class 10 and 12 results. From CBSE to state boards like UPMSP, MSBSHSE, BSE Telangana, HBSE, and UBSE, here’s a comprehensive look at the latest updates on result formats, expected dates, access methods, and policy changes.
CBSE Board Result 2025 Updates
CBSE is expected to declare Class 10 and 12 results in mid to late May 2025, although the official date remains unconfirmed. Students can access their marks via cbseresults.nic.in, results.cbse.nic.in, DigiLocker, and the UMANG app. The board has discontinued the practice of declaring individual toppers since 2023 to reduce academic pressure.
To pass, students must secure a minimum of 33% in each subject, including internals. For those seeking revaluation, applications will open in June 2025 with a per-subject fee. Compartment exams are also an option.
CBSE has also announced a major policy shift for 2026 — two board exams will be held annually, offering greater flexibility as part of NEP reforms.
UP Board Result 2025 (UPMSP)
The UP Board will release Class 10 and 12 results in late April or early May 2025, debunking earlier rumours of a 16 April release. Students must enter their roll number and school code on upmsp.edu.in or upresults.nic.in to view their marksheets.
The correction window for exam details closed on 9 April 2025. In 2024, UPMSP Class 10 girls had a 91.34% pass rate, surpassing boys at 87.66%. Toppers included Prachi Nigam (98.5%) and Shubham Verma (97.8%).
Maharashtra Board Result 2025 (MSBSHSE)
Over 31 lakh students appeared for SSC and HSC exams in Maharashtra this year. Results are expected online by mid to late May 2025 via mahresult.nic.in and mkcl.org.
SMS results are not available, so students must use online portals. After digital publication, physical marksheets will be distributed through schools. Notably, from 16 lakh SSC candidates, 3.64 lakh were from the Mumbai division.
In 2024, SSC saw a 95.81% pass rate. HSC girls recorded a 95.44% pass rate, ahead of boys at 91.56%. Similar trends are anticipated in 2025.
Telangana Board Result 2025 (BSE & TSBIE)
Telangana’s Inter and SSC results will include subject-wise marks, grades, and GPA. Inter results are expected by the last week of April 2025 on tgbie.cgg.gov.in, while SSC results will be released around the same time on bse.telangana.gov.in.
Over 14.7 lakh students appeared, with girls consistently outperforming boys. In 2024, Inter 2nd Year girls scored a 68.35% pass rate, compared to boys’ 51.5%.
Supplementary exams for failed candidates will be conducted in August 2025.
Haryana Board Result 2025 (HBSE)
Haryana Board is likely to release Class 10 and 12 results in May 2025 on bseh.org.in. Students can access results using only their roll numbers — no date of birth or school code required.
In 2024, Class 10 pass rate was 95.22% and Class 12 was 85.31%, with girls outperforming boys. Revaluation applications will open after results are announced. HBSE has also aligned its curriculum with NEP 2020, adding new compulsory subjects for Classes 9–10.
