A day after Reliance Jio and Airtel hiked the prices of their prepaid and postpaid plans, Vodafone Idea too announced a tariff hike. The price of the Airtel and Reliance Jio plans would go up from July 3, whereas the Vodafone price hike would go into effect from July 4. “In line with its commitment to provide its consumers with simple and comprehensive plans, Vi has curated an optimum range of feature-rich plans to meet the diverse needs of its consumers. Staying true to its philosophy of supporting entry-level users and progressively linking higher prices to increased usage, changes in entry-level plans are nominal,” Vi said in a release. It added, “Vi is planning significant investments over the next few quarters to further enhance the 4G experience as well as launch 5G services.

New Prepaid Plans

Unlimited Voice Calling Plan

For those wanting unlimited voice calling, the first plan now costs Rs. 199, up from the previous Rs. 179. This plan provides a 28-day validity with 2GB of data, unlimited calling, and 300 SMS. The second plan in this category, priced at Rs. 509 (previously Rs. 459), extends the validity to 84 days and includes 6GB of data, unlimited calling, and 300 SMS. For long-term users, the annual plan is now Rs.1999 instead of Rs 1799, offering 24GB of data, unlimited calling, and 300 SMS over 365 days.

Daily Data Plan

If your requirement is daily date, then these new plans are for you. The basic daily data plan, now at Rs. 299 (up from Rs. 269), offers 1GB of data per day, unlimited calling, and 100 SMS per day for 28 days. For those requiring a bit more, the Rs. 349 plan (previously Rs. 299) provides 1.5GB of data per day, along with unlimited data from 12 am to 6 am, weekend data rollover, Data Delight, unlimited calling, and 100 SMS per day, also for 28 days.

For a monthly option, the Rs. 379 plan (previously Rs. 319) gives 2GB of data per day, unlimited data from 12 am to 6 am, weekend data rollover, Data Delight, unlimited calling, and 100 SMS per day for one month. For a longer duration, the 56-day plans include Rs. 579 (up from Rs. 479) offering 1.5GB of data per day and Rs. 649 (up from Rs. 539) providing 2GB of data per day, both with the same additional benefits of unlimited data from 12 am to 6 am, weekend data rollover, Data Delight, unlimited calling, and 100 SMS per day.

For even longer durations, the 84-day plans are now priced at Rs. 859 (previously Rs. 719) for 1.5GB of data per day and Rs. 979 (previously Rs. 839) for 2GB of data per day, both with unlimited data from 12 am to 6 am, weekend data rollover, Data Delight, unlimited calling, and 100 SMS per day. The annual plan, now Rs. 3499 (previously Rs. 2899), provides 1.5GB of data per day with all the same additional benefits.

Data Add On

For data add-ons, the plans are straightforward. The 1-day data add-on now costs Rs. 22 (up from Rs. 19) and offers 1GB of data. For a 3-day period, the new plan is Rs. 48 (up from Rs. 39), providing 6GB of data.

Individual Plans

The Individual Plan with a monthly rental of Rs. 401 offers 50GB of data with up to 200GB data, it now costs Rs. 451. It offers rollover, unlimited voice calls, unlimited night data, and 3000 SMS. Additionally, users can choose one complimentary benefit from five options: Disney+ Hotstar, Sony LIV, Sun NXT, EaseMyTrip discount coupons, or Norton Mobile Security for 12 months.

The Individual Plan with a monthly rental of Rs. 501 provides 90GB of data with up to 200GB data rollover, unlimited voice calls, unlimited night data, and 3000 SMS. Users can select two complimentary benefits from eight options: Amazon Prime, Swiggy One, EazyDiner subscriptions for 6 months, Disney+ Hotstar, Sony LIV, Sun NXT, EaseMyTrip discount coupons, or Norton Mobile Security for 12 months. The new price of the plan is Rs. 551.

Family Plans

The Family 2 Line Plan with a monthly rental of Rs. 601 includes 70GB of data for the primary line and 40GB for the secondary line, with up to 200GB data rollover, unlimited voice calls, and unlimited night data for the primary line, along with 3000 SMS. The primary line user can choose two complimentary benefits from six options: Amazon Prime subscription for 6 months, Disney+ Hotstar, Sony LIV, Sun NXT, EaseMyTrip discount coupons, or Norton Mobile Security for 12 months. The new price of the plan is Rs. 701.

The Family 4 Line Plan with a monthly rental of Rs. 1001 offers 140GB of data for the primary line and 40GB for each secondary line, with up to 200GB data rollover, unlimited voice calls, and unlimited night data for the primary line, along with 3000 SMS. The primary line user can choose two complimentary benefits from eight options: Amazon Prime, Swiggy One, EazyDiner subscriptions for 6 months, Disney+ Hotstar, Sony LIV, Sun NXT, EaseMyTrip discount coupons, or Norton Mobile Security for 12 months.
