The explosion resulted in three to four consecutive blasts. This incident took place in Shel Pimpalgaon on May 19 around 5 am. Fortunately, there was no loss of life.

The explosion was strong that the tremors were felt up to one kilometer from the explosion site. The huge tanker was swung into the air and it landed 700 meters away behind a hotel. The explosion completely destroyed a hotel, leveling it to the ground.

Over 100 houses within a five-kilometer radius developed cracks, with some roofs collapsing and some walls crumbling. Four vehicles were also damaged in the explosion.
