In line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Ude Desh ka Aam Nagrik’ and under the guidance of Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu, the café aims to make air travel more accessible and passenger-friendly.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by Pune MP and Union Minister of State for Civil Aviation Murlidhar Mohol, public representatives, officials from the Airports Authority of India (AAI), members of the Airport Advisory Committee, and officers from various airport departments.

Murlidhar Mohol shared that the café offers travelers affordable and premium-quality food options. Tea and bottled water are available at ₹10, while coffee, vada pav, samosa, and sweets are priced at ₹20 each.

After successful launches of the UDAN Yatri Café in Kolkata, Ahmedabad, and Chennai, Pune now joins the growing network, ensuring comfort and convenience for air travelers.

On the occasion, a special video message from Hon’ble Union Civil Aviation Minister Shri Ram Mohan Naidu ji was played. He warmly welcomed the launch and highlighted the initiative’s importance in making air travel more inclusive and passenger-centric.

A significant highlight of the Pune UDAN Yatri Café is that it will be entirely operated by women, marking a strong step towards empowering women in the aviation sector.
