- 35-km route, with 9.25 km underground
- Starts at CSMIA Terminal 2, runs underground till Chedda Nagar, then elevated till NMIA
- Connects major hubs like Kurla, Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, Mankhurd, Vashi, Nerul, and Belapur
CIDCO Vice Chairman & Managing Director Vijay Singhal stated, “This metro link will be a game-changer, enhancing connectivity for domestic and international passengers while easing traffic congestion.” Officials highlighted that the project will significantly benefit travelers with tight schedules or connecting flights.
