Pune: Legal Aid Camp & Government Scheme Fair to be Organized in Saswad on March 16
Pune, March 14, 2025: A legal aid mega camp and government scheme fair will be held at Waghire Arts, Commerce, and Science College in Saswad, Pune district, on March 16.
The event, organized by the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Pune, aims to provide legal assistance and government scheme benefits to over 10,940 beneficiaries from Baramati, Indapur, Daund, Bhor, and Saswad talukas.
Supreme Court Judge Abhay S Oka will inaugurate the event at 10:30 am. The program will be conducted under the guidance of Bombay High Court judges Justice Revati Mohite-Dere, Justice Sandeep Marne, and Justice Arif Doctor. Mahendra Mahajan, Principal District and Sessions Judge, Pune, and Chairman of the DLSA, will preside over the event.
Sonal Patil, Secretary of DLSA, Pune, stated that the event is being organized as per the directives of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA), Supreme Court of India, and the Maharashtra State Legal Services Authority, Bombay High Court. The camp will offer beneficiaries access to various government schemes, ensuring widespread support and legal aid.
