Pune: Temporary Traffic Diversions Introduced in Baner, Airport, and Kharadi Areas for Smoother Commute
To alleviate traffic congestion and ensure smoother vehicular movement, temporary traffic diversions have been implemented in Baner, Airport, and Kharadi areas, effective from Wednesday, March 12. Commuters are advised to use the designated alternative routes for a seamless travel experience.
Traffic Adjustments in Baner Area:
To decongest the Mahabaleshwar Hotel Junction, Savitribai Phule Pune University, and Pashan Road, the following changes have been introduced:
- Alternative Route 1: From Baner Pashan Link Road to Savitribai Phule Pune University – Turn left, take a U-turn in front of 45 Icon IT Company, and proceed via University Road.
- Alternative Route 2: From Baner Village to Baner Pashan Link Road – Take a U-turn at Mauli Petrol Pump, return to Mahabaleshwar Hotel Junction, then turn left to proceed on Baner Pashan Link Road.
Traffic Adjustments in the Airport Area:
To ease congestion at Symbiosis Law College Junction, vehicles coming from Pune Airport towards Ramwadi on New Airport Road will no longer be allowed to turn right at Symbiosis Law College Junction.
- Alternative Route: Take a U-turn at Dorabji Mall Junction or proceed via Airport Junction and Petrol Satha Junction to reach your destination.
Traffic Adjustments in the Kharadi Area:
Vehicles turning right from Kharadi Bypass Road towards Kharadi Dargah Junction or Yuan IT Park will not be permitted to do so.
- Alternative Route: Proceed straight for 250 meters from Kharadi Bypass Junction, take a U-turn after Aaple Ghar Bus Stop, then turn left at Kharadi Dargah Junction to reach your destination.

Commuters are requested to follow the new traffic guidelines and plan their routes accordingly to avoid delays and ensure a hassle-free journey.
