Dr. Yogesh Mhase, Metropolitan Commissioner of PMRDA, stated, “The rise in unauthorized constructions has been causing severe traffic congestion, leading to inconvenience for citizens. This special drive aims to resolve the issue, ensuring smoother traffic movement in the coming days.” Authorities have also urged residents and businesses to obtain proper permissions before constructing any structures to avoid future actions.

This initiative is expected to significantly improve traffic flow and enhance the overall commuting experience for Pune residents.
