Pune: Water Supply Disruption on February 28 in Many Areas Due to Repair Work
Pune, Febraury 27, 2025: Pune Municipal Corporation has announced water supply shutdown on February 28 due to repair and maintenance work in many areas.
Residents in Kharadi, Chandannagar, Anand Park (Vadgaonsheri), Sunita Nagar, Swapni Samarth, Namdev Nagar, Mate Nagar, Punya Nagari, Mahavir Nagar, Munnawar Society, and Malwadi are advised to prepare for a water supply shutdown on Friday, February 28, 2025. The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) will undertake urgent repair work on the main water channel of the Chandannagar Tank, leading to a complete halt in water supply for the entire day in the affected areas.
On Saturday, March 1, 2025, water supply will resume but will be delayed and available at low pressure. Residents are urged to store sufficient water in advance to meet their daily needs during this period.
The PMC has assured that the repair work is essential to maintain the long-term efficiency of the water supply system and has apologized for any inconvenience caused.
