Pune: PMPML Introduces Special Buses for Maha Shivaratri

Pune, February 25, 2026: To facilitate seamless travel for devotees on the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivaratri (February 26, 2025), Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Ltd. (PMPML) has arranged special bus services to key religious destinations.
These additional services will ensure convenient and efficient transportation for devotees visiting prominent temples, including Nilkantheshwar (BSF Center, Panshet), Baneshwar (Narsapur), and Ghoradeshwar Mandir Paitha (Shankarwadi).
Dedicated Special Bus Routes
- Katraj Snake Park to Baneshwar (Cheladi Phata)
First bus: 5:30 AM
Total buses: 11
Frequency: Every 20 minutes
- Swargate Main Bus Station to Nilkantheshwar (BSF Center, Panshet)
First bus: 3:30 AM
Total buses: 14 (including 12 additional services)
Frequency: Every 10-15 minutes - Nigdi (Pawale Chowk) to Ghoradeshwar Mandir Paitha (Shankarwadi)
First bus: 5:20 AM
Total buses: 24
Frequency: Every 10-15 minutes
Seamless Travel with Regular Services
In addition to these special routes, PMPML will continue to operate its regular bus services, including routes 61, 296, 296A, 52A, 228, 305, 341, 342, 368, and 371 to accommodate passengers.
PMPML encourages devotees to utilize these special bus services for a hassle-free and comfortable journey while ensuring a smooth travel experience on Maha Shivaratri.
