Pune: Massive Fire Destroys Speaker Manufacturing Factory in Manjari Khurd

Pune, February 21 – A massive fire engulfed a speaker manufacturing factory in Manjari Khurd early Friday morning, completely destroying the 6,000-square-foot facility. Fortunately, no casualties or injuries were reported.
The fire was reported at 4:43 am, prompting an immediate response from the Pune and PMRDA fire departments. Four fire engines were deployed, and firefighters worked for nearly 30 to 45 minutes to bring the blaze under control. Extensive water spraying was carried out from all sides, followed by a cooling operation to prevent re-ignition.
Firefighters conducted a thorough search to ensure no workers were trapped inside. A JCB machine was used to remove metal sheets and gain access to the affected areas. However, the fire had already caused severe damage, reducing the factory to ashes. Critical machinery and materials, including CNC machines, panel saw cutting machines, speakers, amplifiers, plywood, paint cans, fiber materials, furniture, and electrical wiring, were completely destroyed.
The cause of the fire remains unknown, and an investigation is underway to determine the origin of the blaze.
