Motorcyclist Killed in Tempo Collision on Pune-Satara Road
Vijay Relekar, a motorcycle rider, died after colliding with a speeding tempo near the Swami Vivekananda statue in Padmavati late Wednesday. The tempo driver fled the scene. A complaint by Relekar’s brother, Ganesh, was lodged at Sahakar Nagar police station. Police Sub-Inspector Fakir is investigating.
Senior Citizen Dies in Car Crash at Phadke Chowk
Roopchand Sadashiv Ghone (80) from Parvati succumbed to injuries after a speeding car struck his motorcycle at Phadke Chowk on Wednesday. He died before receiving treatment. His son, Chandrashekhar Ghone, filed a complaint at Parvati police station. Police Sub-Inspector Ismail Sheikh is probing the hit-and-run case.
Young Motorcyclist Dies in Crash on Mumbai-Bengaluru Bypass
Shubham Shukla (36) of Baner-Sus Road died early Thursday after his motorcycle crashed into a negligently parked bus near the Wadgaon flyover. Bus driver Digambar Shinde (32) faces charges. Sinhagad Road police station’s Sub-Inspector Sagar Pawar is leading the investigation.
