In an unsettling development in Bhukum, Maval Taluka of Pune, a Pakistani currency note was found near the lift of Iris 3, a building at SKYI Manas Lake City.

This discovery has raised alarms among residents, particularly due to the society’s proximity to the National Defence Academy (NDA) – located just a few meters away. The presence of foreign currency, especially Pakistani, in such a sensitive area has sparked concerns regarding national security.

The Chairman of the society, Sahadev Yadav, has filed a formal complaint with the Bavdhan Police Station. The residents, along with villagers, have requested a thorough investigation into the matter to determine the origin and significance of the note.

The incident has raised questions about potential security risks, with authorities urged to carry out a detailed inquiry.

Authorities on High Alert

Police have assured that a thorough investigation will be conducted to assess any security risks. With increasing concerns over national security, authorities are being urged to strengthen surveillance and monitoring in the region.
