The Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) has launched an innovative ‘e-office’ system, enabling citizens to access ten essential documents online without the need to visit government offices. This initiative, in line with directives from the central and state governments, aims to enhance transparency, efficiency, and convenience in administrative services.

With the new digital system, residents can now obtain critical documents such as building construction permits, occupancy certificates, boundary maps, land allotment or transfer documents, and no objection certificates (NOCs) from the comfort of their homes. Previously, applicants had to visit PMRDA offices in Aundh or Akurdi to access these services.

PMRDA Commissioner Dr. Yogesh Mhase highlighted the benefits of the system, stating, “The online facility has been operational since February 1. Applicants will now receive real-time updates via SMS, eliminating the need for physical visits. They will also be notified if any errors are found in their applications.”

Citizens can access these services through the official PMRDA website: https://www.pmrda.gov.in. The system also allows applicants to track the progress of their files, ensuring a more transparent and efficient process.

Documents Available Online Under the E-Office System:

  • Building construction permission
  • Land measurement certificate
  • Occupancy certificate
  • Zone certificate
  • Section map
  • Transfer of flats in housing schemes
  • Registration of heirs on flats in housing schemes
  • No objection certificate for loans on flats
  • Preliminary fire safety NOC
  • Final fire safety NOC

This move is expected to significantly reduce paperwork, minimize delays, and improve convenience for citizens, marking a major milestone in PMRDA’s digital transformation journey.
