Key Features of SwaRail SuperApp

SwaRail integrates multiple railway services into one cohesive platform, eliminating the need for passengers to juggle multiple apps. Users can:

  • Book Reserved and Unreserved Tickets – Including platform tickets and season passes.
  • Check Train Schedules & PNR Status – Real-time seat availability and ticket confirmation updates.
  • Track Parcels & Freight – Ensuring smooth logistics management.
  • Order Meals via IRCTC e-Catering – Pre-book meals during travel.

The app’s single sign-on (SSO) feature enhances user convenience by allowing access to all services with one login. This eliminates the hassle of maintaining multiple credentials.

Enhanced Security and Payment Solutions

Security is a top priority for Indian Railways, and the SwaRail SuperApp integrates multi-factor authentication, including m-PIN, biometric verification, and OTP-based login. These measures safeguard user data while ensuring seamless accessibility.

Additionally, the integrated R-Wallet supports UPI and other digital payment options, making transactions quicker and hassle-free. With AI-powered synchronization, the app ensures accurate train schedules and optimized ticketing services.

Beta Testing and Public Rollout

The Ministry of Railways has launched SwaRail in its beta version on the Google Play Store and Apple TestFlight. Currently, downloads are limited, with an initial batch of users providing feedback before a wider rollout to 10,000 more users.

Passengers are encouraged to participate in testing and share their feedback to refine app features and security before its full-scale public release.
