Pune: Water Supply Disruption in South Pune on 26th September Due to PMC Repair Work

The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has announced that several areas in South Pune will face water supply disruption on Thursday, 26th September. The disruption is due to repair work on the main valve and water line at the Kedareshwar Pumping Station in Katraj. Residents can expect water supply to resume late on Friday, 27th September, but it will be at low pressure.

The following areas will be affected by the water disruption: Balaji Nagar, Punyai Nagar, Kashinath Patil Nagar, Shri Hari Society area, Katraj Gaon, Gujarwadi Phata, Gujarwadi Road, Varkhade Nagar, Omkar, Bhushan Society, Utkarsh Society, Rajas Society, Kadam Plaza area, Sukhsagar Nagar (Part 1 & 2), Aagam Mandir area, Santosh Nagar, Anjali Nagar, Dattanagar, Jambhulwadi Road, Ambegaon Road, Wonder City locality, More Baug, Chandrabhaga Nagar, the backside of Bharti Vidyapeeth, Katraj Kondhwa Road, Shivashambho Nagar, Gokulnagar, Sai Nagar, Gajanan Nagar, Kakade Vasti, Ashraf Nagar, Green Park, Rajiv Gandhi Nagar, part of Super Indira Nagar, ISKCON Temple Complex, Tilekarnagar, Kondhwa Budruk Gaon, Laxminagar, Somji Bus Stop Complex, Punyadham Ashram Road, Sai Service, Parge Nagar, Khadi Machine Areas, Badhenagar, Yewalewadi, and Kamthe-Patil Nagar.

Residents are advised to store sufficient water in advance and plan their daily activities accordingly, as the water supply will be restored gradually and at low pressure.
