The monsoon is anticipated to linger in Maharashtra for a few more days, with the withdrawal not expected to commence until October. Anupam Kashyapi, former head of the Weather Forecasting Division at IMD Pune, noted that the state is experiencing moderate to intense rainfall spells with thunderstorms and lightning.
